I’m so excited to finially introduce these Mini Animal Family sewing patterns!
Before I publish a pattern, I always send it out to my pattern testers so they can catch all of my mistakes. I finished these patterns at the end of February. My testers were working on them the week the world went on lock down in March. It is now December and I am just now publishing them. I feel like that explains so well how our Pandemic experience has been.
Maybe it’s just because I’ve been working so long on these guys, but I am just so in love with how adorable they are. They are designed to go along with our Free Mini Bunny Doll pattern. The free pattern includes pieces and a video tutorial for a “Grown-up” size bunny. The full Mini Bunny Family pattern includes pieces for the Grown-up, Kid and baby bunnies, plus includes written instructions and illustrations. (I love a good You-Tube video, but sometimes it’s nice to just have the step-by-step in front of me on a good, old fashioned piece of paper while I sew)
If your Bunny Family needs neighbors, you can mix and match any of the other animals families. (Including a Racoon, Cat, Fox, or Bear) All of the dolls are the same size, (Adults are 7.5 inches, kids are 5.5 inches and babies are 2.5 inches) so they’d work perfectly in the same play sets or dollhouse. They’ll even eventually be able to share clothes. (Patterns for those are coming next!)
Family patterns can be purchased individually, or you can purchase them as a bundle if you want to go for the whole neighborhood. Check out the links below to find each one. I can’t wait to see what you create with these mini animal family sewing patterns!
