I’ve long been wondering the best way to match seams in my sewing projects.
It’s an especially tricky business when sewing small items like stuffed toys. (In the video I was making some of our Mini Animal Family patterns, and it was especially helpful for that.) There are several seams that have contrasting colors and I want to make sure I get them right on.
I recently learned about forked pins. They were originally introduced to the quilting world, since they are always looking for the best ways to match up their seams just right. As soon as I saw them, I knew I needed to try.
I was immediately impressed by the results. The seams that I always find hardest to line up were simple with these pins. I could hardly believe it!
