DIY Trick or Treat Bag | Free Pattern

October 14, 2019

black cat trick or treat bag

Our Halloween sewing continues as we make this Black Cat Trick or Treat bag!

I love all things Halloween. We don’t have any trick-or-treaters in our house yet (gives us a year or two and we’ll be down that route) but it’s still fun to have a cute little candy holder to pass out our treats. This is the perfect size for passing out candy. And I especially love how it can smush flat for storage- I can only fit so much stuff under our bed during the off season!

Since this is part of our Halloween Sewing Fest, the pattern is available for free. A full tutorial can be found in our video below, but if you prefer I’ve included photos of the main steps that you can use as a guide. For more information on the step, click the caption of the photo and you’ll be taken to that part of the video tutorial.

Can’t wait to see your creations! Don’t forget to share them with #sweetbriarsisterspatterns
