2014 Spring Market Softies

May 29, 2014

I had so much fun checking out all the new softies at the 2014 Spring Quilt Market.  I just thought I’d share the inspiration!  You can click on the photos to check out the designer’s website

Art to Heart

One of my favorite booths from market was the Art to Heart booth.  I’ve already purchased both the nativity set and pattern for the snowmen balls, they are official on my ‘to sew’ list!

mckay manor musers

I also quickly fell in love with the McKay Manor Musers softies and adorable children’s quilt applique patterns.  How did I miss these guys before?

just another button company

The Just Another Button Company‘s hedgehog pin cushion pattern is so amazing!  Another thing to add to my ‘To Sew’ list

freddies friends

Adorable creations from Freddies Friends.  (there was no tag on the cute cats- anyone know who designed them?)

Heidi Boyd

Heidi Boyd‘s adorable woodland creations.

Lumenaris

Lumenaris had a whole booth full of adorable wool felt kits.  Those Christmas cookies make me smile!

Sweetbriar Sisters

Of course I had fun finding my own designs throughout the show!  Maybe one day I’ll get brave enough to try my own booth 🙂

blackberry primatives

Blackberry Primitives had some fun creations made from their hand dyed velvet.

camelot fabrics

Have you seen Camelot Fabric‘s growing list of FREE projects?  There are lots of fun options, with more being added.  (my elephant pattern should soon be added as well!)

cottonwood creations

Cottonwood Creations had a whole table of adorable little projects- these guys look great for learning to sew softies.

ellen medlock

Ellen Medlock is an independent fabric designer.  Her line is adorable!  I especially loved her fabric panel with these cute, easy to sew softies.  Perfect for beginners!

wooden spool designs

Wooden Spool Designs had some adorable designs (love that cat!)

The rest of these guys were scattered throughout the booths.  Lots of the fabric companies made up softies to show their fabrics in action.  Unfortunately, most of them weren’t labeled so I’m not sure who the designer was.  If you recognize any let me know and I’ll add the link!  Here are the ones I recognize so far:

I liked the Cottonwood Creations. They remind me of Thanksgiving. They would be cute as a center piece. I also really like the snowmen balls. Might have to make some up.

The Cottonwood Creation designs would be super cute to put out at Thanksgiving time! And I’m definitely with you on the snowmen balls- I think they were my favorite out of everything 🙂
