Last year my mom and sister and I went down to the first annual Salem Quilt Retreat held the week before Salem Days. We had so much fun! I couldn’t believe all the inspiration that came from that day- they did make and takes and had professional pattern designers come in and talk to us and had a cooking demonstration. It was really just a great day. This year my immediate family wasn’t in town, but I was lucky enough to go down with two of my quilting aunts- it was such a great day all over again! I’m pretty sure this will become a yearly thing for me- I just can’t imagine missing it! Here a little visual overview of the day-
