I’ve been having a lot of fun with the quotes on Pinterest lately. That, and the fact that we have a Hobby Lobby close by now and they have the best selection of 2″x2″ frames- perfect to fill with a little inspiration to stick right where you’ll see it. I have little frames just about everywhere in my house now- by my bed, in front of me while I cook, next to my bathroom mirror, etc.
I have, however, noticed that the quotes I pick for inspiration are different than most women my age… Mine would be downright gloomy if they weren’t so dang applicable! I guess that’s what 8 years of life altering chronic illness will do you to. Oh well. Here’s my inspiration for the month- I’m posting it just in case there’s someone else out there with an 8 year old trial that needs to get over with already!

I found your blog through pinterest. Reading it has inspired me. Thank you for your thoughts and openness. I have been dealing with chronic pain for 23 years (since I was 22) stemming from an auto accident. Though mine has not been as life altering as yours, it has had and continues to have a significant impact. I can relate & empathize with a lot of what you say. My life is different than what I had imagined, but I’m grateful to at least have life! I hurt everyday and have since the accident. Somedays are not as bad as others, but it never goes away. I am fairly high functioning and the majority of people I know have no idea what I deal with. It’s tough! Hang in there and thanks for the insights you post. You have put words to what were feelings floating around in me that I didn’t know how to express.

Kim- thank you so much for your comment! Any pain that lasts long enough to be measured in years is a very big deal in my book. Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my site! Hope to keep hearing from you- it makes it easier when I know I’m not the only one out there with crazy life 🙂
