We’re having an exciting morning over here! I was so excited to wake up and see this-
For the past couple months I’ve been working with a buyer from Brewer, a large sewing wholesale distributor. If you’re not familiar with them, a distributor is kind of a middle man for pattern/product designers and stores. They go through and find promising products (all products they carry have to be personally reviewed by a buyer whose job is devoted to finding the most promising products to carry) and make them available in one place. That way a store can restock all their supplies in one order, rather than working with hundreds of different small companies.
So basically, being carried by Brewer is a pretty big deal! It makes me feel so much more official, and will certainly help when I introduce my patterns to new stores.
Hooray for good news!!!
