I’m so excited about the newest pattern on Sweetbriar Sisters- Adorable Autos. I made this pattern up a few years ago and it has been a favorite in our toy box ever since. In fact, I just went out of state to visit my nephew and when he asked if he’d ever been to my house all I had to say was, ‘Yeah- it’s the one with the toy cars you love’ and he immediately remembered his visit!
They make up so fast and I’ve never purchased fabric for them- they take so little you can just use left overs from other projects. I’ve used both cotton and wool felt and both have adorable outcomes.
I’m currently dreaming up a roadway to go with these guys. My mind is full of options that I can’t decide on- maybe a big mat that you could lay out on the floor, maybe interchangeable pieces, maybe something that folds up really small…. I just can’t decide! I guess we’ll all just have to stay tuned to see how it turns out!
