Chronic Fatigue Awareness Day is May 12! This week I’m setting aside my project blog posts to focus on sharing a little bit about the craziness that is Living With Chronic Illness.
To start, I’d love to invite you to help spread ME/CFS awareness! If you have a blog, please consider grabbing our ‘I {heart} someone with CFS’ button (found on the side bar of this blog). The biggest step we need to take is to get people to take this illness seriously. Your support can directly help that!
If you’re not familiar with ‘grabbing buttons’, here’s what it is and how you do it.
What it is:
When you ‘grab’ our button, you take the image and put it on the sidebar of your blog. The image will show up and, when clicked, will link to my final CFS awareness post.
How to do it:
On our side bar you’ll see the square image that says I {heart} someone with CFS. Below it is a box with a bunch of computer code. Select all the code in the box and copy it. Then open up your blog and past it into your side bar as follows:
For Blogger (or blogspot) blogs: Log in, go to your layout view and click ‘Add a new gadget’. Pick the HTML/Javascript gadget from the list. Paste the code into the content box and save.
For WordPress: Sign in, go to Appearance and select widgets. Add a Text widget and paste the code into the text box.
